Pediatric Massage

Massage is a powerful way to connect with your new baby, enforcing positive touch, minimizing touch eversions, decreasing muscular tension, and alleviating gas/minimizing constipation.

I can walk you through a flow step by step or treat your little one, giving you confidence to massage your baby at home and time to ask questions!

Headaches

A common symptom with many possible root origins; stress, muscular tension, jaw clenching, sinus pressure, barometric pressure changes, high blood pressure, misalignment of cervical vertebrae, chemical / hormonal triggers, altered sleep or movement patterns, dehydrations, concussion, or neck injury. Massage, facial release, and gentle cervical mobilization can help minimize and possibly complete alleviate your symptoms!

Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJD)

Pain when you chew? Does your jaw click, pop, or lock when you open and/or close it? Headaches related to chronic clenching? Massage therapy can help! Releasing trigger points and tight muscles of mastication (muscles that you use to chew) can drastically aid in easing symptoms. In the case of clicking, popping, or locking when opening/closing the jaw, this is often an indication of there being dysfunction in the joint itself, indicating joint mobilization.
