Hi I'm Ben
How Can I Help You Today?
Just like Steph I've spent a few years learning how to quickly get on top of people's aches and pains. I found the best results came when we were able to identify a body part or movement pattern that wasn't moving as well as its able to. To this end, I studied the Functional Movement Systems' methods to give me a systematic way to approach any muscle or joint complaint you bring me. Even if you're not hurting right now, the systems give me a way to screen and assess your overall movement to see where your weak points might be. It should be said that there can be plenty of other reasons for muscle and joint problems to come on: your diet, stress levels, sleep and more could be involved - but if you've got those things figured out, I might be able to help you with this one. I think there's at least ten thousand ways a person can lead a healthy active life, and I try to talk a little about what's working for me here on our blog.
Clinically-Oriented Massage
I think I can add the most value for you when you've got a musculoskeletal complaint for me to address - an achy back, a sore neck, painful ankle etc. but if you're just looking to relax and unwind, I can help with that too.
Movement Assessment & Correctives
The best way I've found to quickly get on top of your aches and pains is to take a look at the way you're moving and help you get past any of the weak points quickly. This usually happens before and after the massage.
